ADULT PROGRAMS

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Grab a friend and sign up for our womens basketball league on Tuesday nights. This league was designed to give women a night dedicated to themselves where they can play in an organized basketball league. The cost of the league will also include a reversible that will be the jersey for all teams. The league will include 8 games and then playoffs and championship to follow. Reversibles will be included.

Evaluation Date: February 28th 6:30PM

Dates: Tuesdays, March 7 - May 9

*No Games April 18

Playoffs and championship game to follow season

Time: 6:00PM - 9:00PM

Location: Community Center Gymnasium (Garfield School)

Cost: $100 per person

Ages: 21+

ADULT KICKBOXING

A beginner to intermediate 40 min cardio full body fitness class that consists of light cardio, small weights, resistance bands, kettle bells, Abs/mat work and some work will incorporate kickboxing moves and mitt work. Who said that hard work can’t also be SUPER FUN!? Come get into the best shape of your life! All exercises are adaptable for all ages and fitness levels.

Equipment needed:

Resistance bands

3-5lb hand held weights and/or 5-10lb kettlebell

10 oz or heavier boxing gloves (can be purchased through Amazon or at Target)

Dates: Every Wednesdays starting on February 1st

Time: 5:10PM- 6:10PM

Location: Parks and Recreation Center

Cost: $5 per session

Ages: 18+

Pre-registration is required

YOGA

We will perform yoga at a slower pace with extended meditation time and this class  will end with aromatherapy. Come enjoy an evening of relaxation.

Dates: Tuesdays, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29

Time: 5:15PM - 6:00PM

SENIOR CRAFT NIGHT

Miss Sally isn’t just for the little ones anymore!! Monthly crafts will now be held at the senior center for members. Come make beautiful work to display in your home! Participants must become senior center members before registering. Join in on the fun for all those young at heart!

Dates: The first Monday of every month

Time: 1:00PM

FONDUE NIGHT

What's a better way to kick off Valentine's week than with a hot chocolate pot of melted chocolate! Grab a date or a group of friends and come learn the art of creating (and eating) chocolate fondue. Participants will get to dip various treats into different types of chocolate fondue! This program is sure to make you melt.
