TECH GOES HOME

School Course: for Student with limited or no computer skills

SCHOOL courses are run for parent (or caregiver, guardians)  and child pairs as "families". The child should be from age 7 years to 16.  Both the adult AND the child are required to attend a minimum of 15 hours of class time in order for the "family" to successfully complete the course and receive the FREE Chromebook. ( I Chromebook, headset and Mouse per family)

 

This class is open to families of Revere, Chelsea, Lynn, Malden, Everett, Somerville, Cambridge and Medford public schools.

 

The first class will be on Zoom during the school vacation weeks  from April 19 to 24, 2022 - Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun  from 10:00am-12:30PM

 

Second class will be from May 4 to 25, 2022 on Wednesdays and Fridays (3weeks)

 

Third class will be from May 20 to June 4, 2022 Fridays & Saturdays from 6:00-8:30pm (3 weeks).

 

Please note that completing this application does not guarantee enrollment. IF YOU ATTENDED one of our computer courses in 2020, 2021 and 2022 AND RECEIVED A FREE CHROMEBOOK, YOU ARE NOT ELLIGIBLE, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS.

Community Course/ Job Readiness: For student ages 18 + basic computer skills

 

This class is open to adults 18 years and older residing in Revere, Chelsea, Lynn, Malden, Everett, Somerville, Cambridge and Medford looking for a job or want to improve their technology skills . Class will be on Zoom on Wednesday & Friday from June 8 to 24, 2022  OR Friday & Saturday from June 10 to 25, 2022 (3 weeks) 6:00-8:30PM. Participants are required to attend a minimum of 15 hours of class time to successfully complete the course.
