

ADAPTIVE PROGRAMMING
SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Young Athletes is a unique sport and play program for children with intellectual disabilities. The focus is on fun activities that are important to mental and physical growth. Children ages 2 to 6 enjoy games and activities that develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Children ages 6 to 12 enjoy the fundamentals of golf. Young Athletes is an early introduction to sports and to the world of Special Olympics. The children learn new things, play, and have lots of fun.
Level 1:
Dates: November TBA
Times: 9:30AM - 10:15AM
Ages: 2 - 6
Activity Focus: Early sport skills like running, kicking, throwing and balancing
Level 2:
Dates: November TBA
Times: 10:30AM - 11:15AM
Ages: 6 - 12
Activity Focus: Fundamentals of Golf Pre-registration required.

MESSY SENSORY PLAY
Children are introduced to a multi-sensory experience by exploring a wide-variety of art & movement. The class will help to develop fine motor skills by painting, drawing, squeezing glue, cutting and collaging stamping. including art, movement or sensory activity.
Dates: Mondays, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5, 12/12
Time: 6:00PM - 6:45PM
